The Mirror reports that Guy Ritchie’s married life with Madonna forced the director to live by the Material Girl’s tyrannical rules as it related to food and television. “The evening meal, eaten in stony silence, would consist of – at Madonna’s insistence – steamed fish and seasonal vegetables,” an insider told the British tabloid. “If Guy fancied a pie and a pint he would have to nip down to the pub. That sort of stodge was banned from the family home.” Their children not being allowed to watch television became a point of stress, with Madonna shouting down Guy if he questioned her strict attitude.
Bedroom life wasn’t any better, with Guy unable to enjoy a sex life with Madonna due to her desire to remain youthful. “Some nights she’ll completely cover herself with thick moisturizing creams,” the tipster said. “She’ll go through pots and pots worth £500 a pop. And then she climbs into these protective plastic body suits. She sleeps covered in all this gunk and plastic.”
