The Mirror reports that Guy Ritchie’s married life with Madonna forced the director to live by the Material Girl’s tyrannical rules as it related to food and television. “The evening meal, eaten in stony silence, would consist of – at Madonna’s insistence – steamed fish and seasonal vegetables,” an insider told the British tabloid. “If Guy fancied a pie and a pint he would have to nip down to the pub. That sort of stodge was banned from the family home.” Their children not being allowed to watch television became a point of stress, with Madonna shouting down Guy if he questioned her strict attitude.
Bedroom life wasn’t any better, with Guy unable to enjoy a sex life with Madonna due to her desire to remain youthful. “Some nights she’ll completely cover herself with thick moisturizing creams,” the tipster said. “She’ll go through pots and pots worth £500 a pop. And then she climbs into these protective plastic body suits. She sleeps covered in all this gunk and plastic.”

Potential Child Custody Battle Likely To Favor Madonna

Madonna Demand For New York Move The Final Straw In Marital Crisis
October 16, 2008 – The Daily Mail reports that Madonna and Guy Ritchie called time on their marriage after months of arguing over a wide range of issues, only to have the last straw last Friday, where Madge gave her director hubby an ultimatum to move from London to New York with her. “Guy just went mad saying there was no way he was moving abroad away from his roots and family on a whim just because Madonna desired another of her notorious image changes,” a well-placed source told the British tabloid. “Madonna was incensed, telling him ‘either you’re in or out’. It has become so bad that they cannot be in a room together for more than a few minutes without having a shouting match. Over the weekend they spoke more calmly and admitted they had only been staying together for the children and had been living a lie.” Read more.
Neil Sean On Madonna And Guy Ritchie Divorce
October 16, 2008 – Madonna and Guy Ritchie are calling it quits after 7 1/2 years of marriage. Fox News Channel got on the phone with Neil Sean in London, who offered some details on the split.
“There is a prenup of sorts,” Neil said. “The only reason they would get the money split is on the things that they bought together after their marriage.”
Neil added that Guy was pretty upset about this. “He looked very much a broken man at the press launch,” he explained. “Consequently, I think the public, particularly over here on the UK are definitely on his side. Not because he’s a Brit, but it appears Madonna just decided to leave him.”
