Madonna’s New Children’s Book A Sales Failure

Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com reports ’s new children’s book ‘The English Roses: Too Good to Be True’ has sold just 9,000 copies, according to Nielsen Bookscan. Despite the Material Girl’s appearances on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’, and ‘Dateline’, the controversy surrounding the adoption of David Banda made book promotion difficult. The first book in the children’s series, ‘The English Roses’, has sold 350,000 copies since its September 15, 2003 release. Read more.
