Madonna’s Surprised By Her Children’s Book Success

Despite the successes of her career, Madonna tells ‘Extra’ even she was shocked by the record breaking sales of her children’s books, ‘The English Roses’ and her latest ‘Mr. Peabody’s Apples’. “To be a published writer for me is huge. It is just a huge accomplishment for me,” she admits. And the most rewarding part of this for Madonna is that all the profits are going to a children’s learning foundation. She says, “I thought that it was time for me to do something without expecting any kind of monetary reward. I’ve been incredibly liberated.”
