Mandy Moore ‘Covers’ New Bases

tells Billboard that she is not worried about comparisons of her interpretations with those of the original artists on her latest effort ‘Coverage’, having tackled songs by such heavyweights as Joan Armatrading, Cat Stevens, Blondie and Joni Mitchell. “It’s for people to decide what I add to these songs, not me,” she reflects. “I just wanted to sing them. The songs are all genius and perfect to begin with, so I didn’t feel the need to do something completely different. I wanted to hold true to the songs.”

Mandy has never even had a hit single. We can throw her in the Britney clone pile with Willa Ford.

I USE to like her music. Actually the only songs of hers I liked were ‘Walk Me Home’ and ‘I Wanna Be With You’. It’s really sad that she had to go so low as to record a whole album of someone else’s music. The occasional song cover on an album is cool, but to dedicate the whole album to it is outta line. Well, its not outta line- its just plain pathetic.

LOL! You all are Britney fans, so that explains the stupidity I feel sad for you
