Mandy Moore expressed frustration about the likely lack of radio play her latest single ‘Cry’ will receive telling fans on her official site’s message board, “Well they haven’t technically gone for ‘Cry’ yet (supposed to after the holidays). But getting tons of adds your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd week out doesn’t mean that your song is going to be a hit. It doesn’t matter if a radio station ‘adds’ your song, but rather if they actually play it a lot. There is so much political action that goes on that I can’t even begin to explain. I am holding out hope for this song because I know how good it is. Better than any other song I have released… although it makes me sad that something I am so proud of will be heard in a movie more than on the radio where it should be.”
