Mandy Moore Happy To Do The Write Thing

The Chicago Sun-Times spoke with Mandy Moore in a Q&A, where the singer discussed how the lyrics to her new album ‘Wild Hope’ are very candid and very personal. “The whole record is very personal,” she said. “I wanted to be as honest as possible about what I wanted to say and how I wanted to say it. The whole process was quite cathartic. I needed clarity on some situations in my life, and writing the words down gave me that clarity. [Laughs] Maybe next time I’ll go into therapy instead of writing.”
