May 30, 2003 – Entertainment Weekly caught up with Mandy for a Q&A and asked the singer/actress why her forthcoming album ‘Coverage’ has been kept under wraps. “We kind of did it unbeknownst to the record company,” she said. “I found a producer I wanted to work with and we worked out of his garage studio and just did it. May 26, 2003 – WENN reports Mandy revealed her newly trimmed hairstyle had upset bosses on her new movie ‘How To Deal’. She says, “The big decision makers liked my hair [longer], but I fought. I know it’s really stupid – I’m talking about a haircut – but I felt really passionate about it and nobody wanted to listen to me.” The two sides compromised, with Mandy having long hair at the beginning of the movie, then cutting it later on.
