Mandy Moore: I Couldn’t Handle ‘Idol’

‘American Dreamz’ star Mandy Moore admits to ‘ET on MTV’ that she’d have a tough time on ‘American Idol’, especially facing the cruel commentary from Simon Cowell. “I think I would have gotten cut in like the first round,” Mandy admitted. “I’m a really sensitive girl, so I think Simon would have said something rude to me and I would have cried or ran off stage or something.”

But I am willing to pursue avenues within acting and modeling just so I can get my name out there to help my singing career. I mean, I love being in front of the camera and I feel very comfortable. So what better way to make a living than by doing something you love?”
