Mandy Moore Moderator Controversy Continues

A post on the official site message board providing a scoop on Mandy Moore’s role in her new movie ‘A Walk To Remember’ not only did bring thanks from Mandy herself, but turned into a catfight between the moderator Jon (bills5000) and the original poster Angelika, who is a friend of Mandy’s brother Scott Moore. Angelika blasted Jon saying, “Alright… I am going to go ahead and speak about this if you won’t drop it. You are a punk Jon. You know damn good and well why I threatened you. And I do stand by it. I am going to go out on a limb when I say that you are a pathetic guy, and I am telling you right now that if you don’t drop all of this…. I am going to keep going after your sorry ass. I was trying to be nice and take the heat off you some, but you know what? You don’t deserve it, you were wrong. What you did was crossing a boundary. You are NOT Mandy Moore’s friend. You ARE NOT welcome in her personal life.”

Mandy Insists It’s Never Been Safer To Fly

More On Moore Cancellation

November 9, 2001 – The Sydney Herald Sun reports industry insiders are suggesting that Mandy’s poor record sales were the key decision behind Sony’s decision to not fly her and her band all the way to Australia to perform for just 20 minutes at Rumba, as it would be financially unviable. Moore has been stating on her message board repeatedly that she nor her manager had any involvement in the decision, but apologized in any event.

Never Bitchy To Fans

November 9, 2001 – Mandy insisted on her official site message board she’s not snippy with fans seeking autographs after someone relayed a story that she had been telling them, “I promise I have never been snippy to any of you and I never would be. I respect you and your power. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here. So, I tend to think the story is exaggerated (no offense but sometimes it is more exciting for someone to tell a story that way instead of being honest). I WOULD NEVER be bitchy at someone asking for an autograph. EVER. It is an honor to sign an autograph or take a pic. Granted, sometimes things get crazy, but i would never roll my eyes and get hissy about it. Please understand this.”
