Mandy Moore traveled to the Philippines last week for the first time. On November 21st she performed at the MTV Asia Summit (to raise awareness for those afflicted with HIV) and the night before she performed her first live concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines.

I heard that it was successful…. and peaceful, unlike the Mariah Carey trip, which was disturbed by fights between the Has-Been’s entourage and airport security. A low class crowd of unruly people came to see the Queen of Flops, and violence erupted in one of the shows. Reports have it that Mariah was pelted with rotten eggs at one point, and the Philippine media has declared the show as THE biggest and messiest box office flop for the year. Of course, her fans will deny this.
