Mandy Moore’s mother posted on her daughter’s official site message board that the young singer is very sick at the moment with Mandy herself sounding a somewhat more positive tone about the situation in a later post. Read on for what mom and Mandy had to say.

I know I have never posted here before but I wanted to let you know that Mandy is very sick and bedridden. She has laryngitis, tracheitis and swollen vocal chords. She has borderline pneumonia and bronchitis. She is so sad she has to cancel her show in Columbus this weekend and our plans to go home to Orlando on Monday are on hold because she has to go back to the doctor for a chest xray. Please keep her in your prayers. And thank you guys for all of your love and support. May God Bless each of you with much happiness in 2002! Happy Holidays!

Mandy’s mom is my mom. she just told me that she finally registered and posted this message. unfortunately guys, I am pretty sick and have had to cancel my show in Columbus on Sunday. The weird thing is that I don’t feel terrible, therefore I really didn’t know how sick I was until I ventured off to the doctor yesterday. hmmm…. well just wanted to keep you in the loop and hope you guys are enjoying the holidays as much as I am.
