Mandy Moore’s Career Could Last Past Lunchtime

Jonathan Takiff of the Philadelphia Daily News gave his thoughts on ‘A Walk to Remember’ giving Mandy a pretty decent assessment. Takiff said Mandy “has a natural, knowing way about her, a subtle smile and soft-spoken demeanor that make her character seem genuine, caring and courageous in the face of adversity – quite the positive role model.” Takiff adds, “Moore’s character also gets a couple chances in the film to pour her heart out in song – as church choir soloist and newly blossoming star of the school musical – and in both cases does so angelically. This is one MTV teen queen whose career could last past lunchtime.”
