Mandy Moore’s Character Has Condescending Tone In ‘Walk’

Associated Press movie critic Christy Lemire reviewed the starring ‘A Walk to Remember’ giving it a mixed grade. Lemire described Moore’s chacter saying, “ plays quiet Jamie Sullivan, the reverend’s daughter. She walks around the small town of Beaufort, N.C., with the condescending tone and creepy, ethereal smile of the morally and spiritually righteous.” Like others, Lemire criticized the Christian overtones and the offensive token black guy.
