Marc Anthony Sued By Former Friend

The New York Daily News reports Marc Anthony has been sued in Puerto Rico by former friend Shimmy McHugh, who claims the salsa star won’t pay $20,000 he owes for a party Anthony threw at McHugh’s club in San Juan two years ago. “It’s such a small bit of money for him,” says McHugh, who contends that Anthony and his handlers have known about the debt all along. Anthony’s rep responded: “We do expect this matter to be settled shortly. His legal and business team are on top of this.”
