The New York Daily News reports a judge in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday approved a divorce for Marc Anthony and former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, clearing the way for the singer to propose to Jennifer Lopez. Lawyers for Anthony and Torres said in a joint statement that their “clients remain close friends and are pleased to resolve this matter amicably.” But according to the divorce decree, Anthony must pay Torres $3,500 a month in alimony, plus $13,000 a month for support of their children, Cristian, 3, and Ryan, 9 months.

He’s been bombarding Enza Sambataro with invites to exotic locales, dinners and Red Sox games and even spent Memorial Day weekend with her at her parents’ house in New Hampshire. Sambataro, a tall, 26-year-old brunette who one co-worker described as “prettier than J.Lo,” works as an account exec for CBS4 and UPN38. The Newton gal is described as bright, athletic and “very personable.” She’s a Boston College alum who reportedly speaks three languages.
