‘The Flopation of Mimi’ is already a huge bomb. It’s preorder sales are so pathetic it can’t even get ranked on Amazon’s top 100 music sales list. The sales for The Flopation of Mimi are so low it’s ranked behind another has-beens new album, Billy Idol. The Flop Queen’s turd is setting up to be the biggest bust albums of 2005. Time for all the lambflops to celebrate yet another mega flop in and endless career of bombs and turds.

no wonder her record label kept pushing the release date of the CD back. “Glitter 2” comin’ up!

I was wondering when you’d show your pathetic a$$. As usual, you’re wrong, but no one really gives a ***** but you.

We can’t laugh at the Flop Queen all day even though it’s tempting

even tho I’m a lamb, id prob disagree, n say I love em both, but after listening to …’, ‘both their new songs, god yes Mariah is back and better than ever and jlo’s movie and music career has taken such a beating, its starting to show on her face

  6. popfan_23 says:

she has takin a beating, huh?’, ‘and her last movie was pretty good, shall we dance, actually all her movies, in my opinion except gigli (and I didn’t see jersey girl), are good, she’s a talented actress

No beating, just not the level of success she had before. The album has sold 460k’, ‘copies so far, and there was no significant drop between third and 4th week sales, even though there was a drop in chart positions. Get Right peaked at #12, which is pretty good, not a #1, but #12 is ok. Hold You Down is sneaking in, it’s currently at #74 or something like that, and the remix is fire. Shall We Dance made more than 100 Mill. So, really, no beating, it’s just going to take her a little bit to pick up the pieces of the Gigli bomb.

actually just checked the figures for Shall We Dance and it’s up to 140 million’, ‘worldwide, with a 50 million dollar budget, that’s a 90 million dollar profit. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

I know for a fact that Jennifer is at that point where it’s not about sales anymore. She just cares about doing what she wants to do, it’s not about making money at this point, she’s had enough success where she can live comfortably for a while, no matter how bad she does. As for Mariah, I think the breakdown was due in great part to the fact that it was the first time the public didn’t embrace one of her projects full-heartedly. I think she realized though that there is no way she can go back to selling as many records because the industry’s changed that much. She’s carved a nice enough niche as one of the most blessed voices of our generation, and I think she hit that point where that is good enough.

I’d have to Agree about J.Lo -I do think she finally at the point where she’s happy’, ‘She knew that going in the industry in your 30’s was going to be a tough job, so she had to act fast if she wanted to be a superstar mogul, She made a name for herself as an actress first, then conquered the music industry (with several stand out tracks), then she went into the fragrance and cosmetic world (love Glow, love the 2 new ones to, but I’m saying Glow, since it was first), then she hit fashion and started a big trend with those velour track suits, and not she’s got high fashion, like her or hate her you got to admit the girl is smart, Some say she picked most of it (her industry smarts) up from Sean Combs, I don’t think there’s any denying that, but not just anyone could to that.

She’s gotten to the point where she’s comfortable in her own skin, and being just who she is, and not what people want her to be. Not only is she happy, she’s at peace, at peace whit heself, cause that’s where it must start first, it must come from within, before it’s ever show on the outside. Her smile now is so real and pure, not at all forced. She can now genuinely give herself to her music. She doesn’t have to be only pop, or only r&b, she can be both, and she doesn’t have to look or act like she’s 21, she’s a grown assed woman, she’s 35, she looks damn good for it, and she’s now at the place where she’s comfortable with that.
