Mariah Carey AOL Interview

Mariah Carey is featured on Sessions@AOL, as she is Netscape Music’s Artist of the Month. Mariah described her love of charm bracelets, which was behind the naming of her latest album ‘Charmbracelet.’ Mariah says each song is a charm and the album is a link that holds them together. Mariah says she had to cut down from 21 to 15 songs on the album, all written by her, and ended up with a representation of what she was feeling at the time. Carey says she wanted to get away from the business when writing the album, and wasn’t worried about topping any prior efforts. Audio has since been removed.
