Mariah Carey Attends 2009 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards
Mariah Carey was on hand for the 2009 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards in Santa Monica on Saturday (February 21), where the singer had “no comment” on Chris Brown’s alleged assault of his girlfriend Rihanna, but did talk about her new movie ‘Precious’, the story of a teenage girl living in Harlem.
Carey told MTV News she was “just honored to be a part of it. It’s really something that’s so strong and different and I think that it’s really going to enlighten a lot of people and help a lot of people.”
