According to MariahDaily.com and Billboard.com, ’s hit single ‘We Belong Together’ continues to make chart history this week. “We Belong Together” takes over the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Pop 100, Pop 100 Airplay, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, Adult R&B (a career-first for Mariah), Rhythmic Top 40, and Mainstream Top 40 – and she becomes the first solo artist ever to top all eight charts concurrently, it was announced today by Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group.

    Can you say “payola”?don’t get me wrong I liked the song three months ago and the first three hundred times I heard it.the feeling I get from people, even radio dj’s is they are tired of hearing it. I live in Dallas and Rickey smiley jokes all the time on his morning show about how much that song is played.

    The next single will not have that amount of success’, ‘I like Mariah and I am sooo glad for her huge hit, however the next single she choose is not one of the better songs on the CD. I say it will only peak at #7 on Billboard. It’s more of an R&B song, however I bet it will not peak above #5 on that chart.
