Mariah Carey phoned into Power 106 FM in Los Angeles the other day to promote her upcoming album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’. Carey again insisted that she isn’t changing her name to Mimi, it’s just a nickname she has. As for the staying power worldwide for the singer, she said she just wants to put out music she’s proud of. Audio has since been removed from power106la.com.
