Mariah Carey: ‘Glitter’ Release Was Badly Timed
Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung caught up with Mariah Carey for a Q&A and asked the singer what went wrong with the release of ‘Glitter’. “‘Glitter’ was ahead of its time – today it’s ‘in’ to make 80’s music,” Carey reasoned. “But the timing was bad – I released it around September 11, 2001. The media was laughing at me and attacked me.” Check out the entire interview at MariahDaily.com.
