Mariah Carey Honored In Munich

Mariah Carey was presented the Golden Award by Universal Music in Munich, Germany for her newest album, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’, which has sold seven million copies worldwide. “This is amazing and I am just so overwhelmed by the success of this album “The Emancipation of Mimi” and I certainly couldn’t have done this without the wonderful support of Universal Germany, so thank you so much and thank you everybody, all the great members of the German press who have been so kind to me”, Carey told reporters as she was presented with a plaque representing the seven million sold albums.
