Yet again Mariah Carey has another achievement under her belt…. Well done to her… I also wanted to say to all the people that get on here and write nasty comments about her. It will never cease to amaze me that people can actually put her down… I am from Australia and I love Mariah.. I think she’s brilliant in everything she does… I could honestly say that there are many many countries that would love to take credit in such an amazing singer, songwriter, producer etc etc..like Mariah Carey… but most of the talent that comes out of our countries will never ever be on the same level as hers…. so you Americans should all pull together and support her, not put her down… Once again congratulations Mariah on yet another achievement with many more to come…

I must admit, when Mariah sang the National Anthem it was classy, well-sung and very professional. Her smile was mega-watt, her Voice was in tip-top shape and she only whispered a little. Very classy performance. That’s the Mariah, that we all know and love.

Yep, I agree, everyone thought she would fail, because she was dealing with her emotional issues and her break-up with Luis Miguel, but she flashed that smile and just let that voice soar. She and Whitney made that Anthem soar. I appreciated the power they gave to the song.

MAZZA, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED YOUR COMMENT, AND YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT. AMERICANS SHOULD FEEL PROUD TO PRODUCE TALENT LIKE MARIAH, WHICH VERY FEW COUNTRIES CAN CLAIM SOMETHING LIKE THAT. TIG, I ALSO AGREE WITH THE FACT THAT MARIA’S PERFORMANCE OF THAT SONG WAS VERY TOUCHING AND WITH THE CLASS AND RESPECT IT DESERVED.

Her performance should of landed her better than #23. It was amazing! The best version of the National Anthem I ever heard.

It never ceases to amaze me how the same Mariah fans will go and hate on another singer and feel justified.
