Rolling Stone Magazine is counting down the 25 Most Memorable Music Moments in NFL History. Coming in at number twenty-three is Mariah Carey’s performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXXVI on February 3, 2002. “After a tumultuous few months in the headlines, eight-octave diva Mariah Carey steps to the Super Bowl stage and belts it out with style, proving herself to be as resilient as the country she’s singing about,” says the magazine.
