Jet Valle of the Manila Bulletin reviewed Mariah Carey’s concert in Manila the other night. Valle writes, “It was a very impressive concert. Congratulations to Mariah and the producers East West Global Entertainment. At least there weren’t any major mishaps during the concert. Even the weather seemed to have cooperated because it didn’t rain during the show.”

As always another great concert in Mariah’s World Tour! Go Mariah!
yeah, she’s still the one in Third World countries.
Madfan, Your comment is very immature. Why do you have to put other countries down like that to make a stupid point? What? do you happen to live in the Hamptons and have your own private jet? You must be a very sorry person, only people like that put others down to feel better about themselves. What gives you the right?! I pity you.
Since when is Manilla considered a third-world country?
GO MARIAH!!! Another amazing review from the biggest tour of her career!!!!! She is the best, even the critics are beginning to realize it!
As much as I dislike her music I have to admit I think she’s got talent. She was rich, successful and famous just on her voice and music way before she started taking her clothes off. Kinda like the other way round from singers today… Still can’t listen to her songs though!
More Flops for the Flop Queen. The BOMB-bracelet tour couldn’t be any more of a Failure. She’s performing in countries that no artist with a career would ever do a show in. Not even Cyndi Lauper would drop that low and do shows were the biggest has-been in music is doing them. The Flop Queen keeps sinking lower and lower, well it’s great to laugh at her and all the pathetic lambs that are desperately trying to keep this dead horse alive.
Weebongo, you call Asia a place where NO other artist would perform?? You are a FOOL!!!! Keeping talking sh** about Mariah, while she’s busy making MILLIONS on the BIGGEST TOUR OF HER 13 YEAR CAREER!!!! As much as you haters hate to admit it, this is Mariah’s LONGEST and more PROFITABLE tour of her career. Early estimates are showing between 30-40 million earned, BEFORE the extended US dates are even added!!! Mariah’s definitely wracking in the money!
People, Manilla has poor areas, but it is NOT a third-world country!!! If it was so poor, do you honestly think the Mariah fans there would pay up to $200 a ticket for good seats? Manilla used to be a poverty stricken country, but it’s not any more. You act like it’s part of Ethiopia where the children are running around with no food and no clothes. Manilla is NOT a third-world country.
No major artist is performing in the countries that The Flop Queen is doing shows in because there in no money to be made in them. Only has-beens like her perform there. 30-40 Million where’s you’re proof on that dumb@ss, she’s not making that by performing in Russia or the Philippines. lol The BOMB-bracelet tour is a flop like everything she does. Why would this be any different.
Mandy Moore went to the Philippines also you idiot! to promote her new album……. Do you realize how ignorant and stupid you sound? I think not!
Hey no offense intended but there are no third world cities alone, Manilla is part of the Philippines and that country is classified as developing, third world, low income, etc… Of course there are people there who can buy tickets there are plenty of rich people in the third world countries,, but there are far more poor people and most people in the Philippines make less than 200 $ a month!
According to Billboard.com, they state that after 13 shows Mariah’s tour made more then 5 million. Mariah’s “Charmbracelet World Tour” is made up of over 75 dates, now you do the math. And you think she isn’t making money off the dates in Asia?? PLEASE!!! All 3 of Mariah’s Asian tour dates SOLD OUT with over 25,000 tickets sold at EACH venue!!! Ticket prices ranging from $15 to over $250. Now how is she not making money by going to Asia? Face it, “The Charmbracelet World Tour” is a SUCCESS, critically, commercially, and market-wise. And, they aren’t even finished adding more US dates, according to Mariah’s official website it says to check back soon for ADDITIONAL dates in the New Year!
