Mariah Carey spoke with Trevor Nelson of Radio 1 a few weeks ago and was asked her thoughts on gossip. “People wanna hear the gossip and the lies,” she said. “That’s why I say celebrity gossip is nonsense. It’s either planted by the celebrity or else written by someone who is sitting around with nothing to do.”
