Mariah Carey chatted with Matt Lauer of the Today Show and was asked if she felt a competition with fellow diva Whitney Houston as both released their new albums this month. “I don’t think it’s about a competition between us,” Carey said. “I mean, I really think she’s a cool person and I hope for nothing but the best for her.” Carey performed the Def Leppard remake ‘Bringin’ on the Heartbreak’, ‘Oh Boy’, ‘Through The Rain’, and ‘Make It Happen’.
