Mariah Carey Opens Up About Tommy Mottola Marriage

The second part of the Mariah Carey transcript from her appearance on the Johannes B. Kerner Show on ZDF on Friday has been posted. Mariah chatted about former husband Tommy Mottola and what led to their split. “I wanted to hang out with my friends,” she said. “I wanted to decide what to dress like what I found nice. I have nothing against him, no bad feelings. But what I want to say is that I did that because he wanted to do that. The marriage thing, I said ‘Well, we’re gonna have a big wedding. I’m with it.’ But we were together a long time before. So, I’d say the marriage part was more like the end of the relationship. I think we could’ve been together longer, or it would have been better I think, if we hadn’t married.”
