‘Extra’ caught up with Mariah Carey at a charity event in Aspen, Colorado, where the singer discussed her upcoming follow-up to ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’. “The album is probably my favorite album that I’ve ever done,” Carey said. “I don’t want to brag, I am am just humbly grateful that I was blessed to be able to make this record, because I love it.” As for why there’s no title for the 37-year-old’s tenth studio album due out this spring, she responded, “After ‘The Emancipation of Mimi,’ which is something that came so naturally to me, the title, I really want to think about it because it might be something the complete opposite of that.” Read more.
