Time magazine caught up with Mariah Carey for a Q&A, and asked the singer if she was afraid to take a role in ‘Tennessee’ after the disastrous reviews she got for ‘Glitter’. “I was honored Lee Daniels called me,” Carey responded. “He produced ‘The Woodsman’ and ‘Monster’s Ball’. He’s a risk taker. Obviously it would be a risk in a lot of people’s minds to cast me. But he never saw ‘Glitter’.” Read more.
