Mariah Carey Re-Gifts Fur Coats

The New York Daily News reports that after receiving two $9,000 furs from an unnamed wealthy Russian, Mariah Carey forwarded the gifts to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ New York office. “Christmas came early,” said PETA’s Dawn Carr, noting that the group will use the coats in grisly presentations to high school students around the country on how animals are cruelly trapped in the wild or strangled and electrocuted on fur farms just for a frivolous fashion item.
