Mariah Carey Returns To Motion Pictures

Carson Daly joked during his ‘Last Call’ monologue on Wednesday night, “Last week it was announced — and this is great news, I think — Mariah Carey will be making her triumphant return to motion pictures. She signed on to do another movie. Isn’t that great? [Cheers and applause] It’s — I’ll tell you what I know about it. It’s a dramatic film. It’s called ‘Tennessee’. Interesting plot for the new Mariah movie. Mariah Carey plays a tough young actress, back against the wall, who travels the world trying to destroy every copy of the movie ‘Glitter’. … That’s the plot. I can see why she would sign on to do that movie. I hope she gets all of them. Are you gonna see that? It’s called ‘Tennessee’. It arrives in theaters November 28th, but it leaves the 29th, so — you got to see it quick.”
