In a gesture bound to make two fans quite happy, Mariah Carey and her record label are auctioning off a pair of front-row seats for her September 18 concert at New York’s Radio City Music Hall with proceeds going to VH1’s music education initiative, Save the Music.
The tickets, along with a handful of other auction items, are listed on eBay’s Save the Music page, and bids are accepted through September 13. Also up for grabs are an autographed microphone used by the singer on a “The Early Show” appearance, an autographed edition of her full CD catalog and autographed publicity photos. Carey’s artist page on VH1.com has detailed explanations of the items and links to the bidding pages.
Carey’s latest video is for “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak”, her cover of the classic Def Leppard tune. On September 27, her tour takes her to Russia with shows scheduled at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
