Mariah Carey Sets Name For New Label

Mariah Carey fan site MariahBuzz.com reports that despite previous reports Mariah’s new label under Universal/Island Def Jam records would be titled, ‘Monarch Records’, the official name at the moment is in fact, MonarC Records – a tentative name – with the M & C in capitals and the rest in lower case. The label should be launched within the next couple of months along with the first single out in September/October with the upcoming album due in December.
