Mariah Carey Stiffs Shore Club Staffers From Gratuities

Globe Magazine reports that when Mariah Carey recently stayed at the Shore Club Hotel in South Beach, she racked up a huge bill of nearly $100,000, but the singer didn’t even leave a dime for a tip to a steamed staff. While a staffer says the singer was surprisingly pleasant during her stay, a cocktail waitress explained, “We usually don’t serve hot tea by the pool, but since she was so charming, I went and got it for her. But she left no gratuity at all. She’s just a phony cheapskate!” They suggest the singer bring her own teapot if she ever plans on visiting the Shore Club again.
