The New York Daily News caught up with Mariah Carey at the party for her chart-topping album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ on Thursday at Cipriani Restaurant. “I’m just excited, and you know what? I owe it all to the fans,” she said. “Because they stuck with me and they are feeling this album, so it’s an exciting thing. I just want to say thank you and they always know how much I appreciate them, but it’s so nice to have such incredible fans that never let me down, and they encourage me and inspire me.”
