Mariah Carey ‘Thrilled’ By NASCAR Gig
The Canton Repository spoke with Mariah Carey about her thoughts on singing the national anthem at the Daytona 500. “I’m just so excited. I’m totally thrilled about it,” Mariah enthused. “I’m looking forward to this. My father actually used to race cars, and when I heard about this, I felt like it was perfect timing because my father passed away this past year and we had gotten into a long conversation about the fact he used to race cars.
