Mariah Carey Visits Radio 1 Rap Show
Mariah Carey was the special guest on the Radio 1 Rap Show on Saturday (September 17). Host Tim Westwood spoke with the singer about the success of ‘We Belong Together’ with longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri, breaking the ground with hip-hop influences into her music, finding a perfect home with Def Jam, the importance of writing her own songs, having fun at awards shows, her kind words for Beyonce Knowles, not being able to mix alcohol, and she got a kick out of the language disclaimer Radio 1 gives to guests.
