Mariah Carey Wins At People’s Choice Awards 2010
Mariah Carey was on hand for the People’s Choice Awards 2010 at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 6). Mariah took home favorite R&B artist, offering a more coherent acceptance speech than the Palm Springs Film Festival effort the prior evening. Check out pictures from Zimbio.com.
The 39-year-old songbird said people shouldn’t take the champagne impared speech too seriously. “If people don’t understand me and think I’m just like this girl that stands by a microphone and sings ‘Hero’, then they’re definitely not going to get me,” she explained. “But if people knew me better, they would understand I have a sense of humor, and basically that’s what gets me through life.”
