Teen Music reports Mariah Carey has an ardent admirer in the unlikeliest of sources – American alternative rocker Ryan Adams. The little-known musician, popular on the alternative circuit, is confounded as to why the Charmbracelet singer doesn’t date him. And he believes that since Mariah has had a breakdown, they would make perfect partners. Adams says, “There’s a couple of these choice Mariah Carey tracks where I’m like so convinced that she’s just the bomb. She’s the best. I don’t know why she doesn’t date me, man. Mariah Carey would have a perfectly good time dating me. I mean, she went crazy, she started loony tunes so we’d totally get on. And she probably parties, y’know?”
