Mariah Carey’s Diva Rep Damages Movie Hopes

The New York Post reports Mariah Carey’s diva reputation his causing her troubles in attempts to land movie roles. An insider at the Sundance Film Festival revealed, “Several years ago, she was supposed to meet [director] Stephen Frears at Shutters in Santa Monica to audition for ‘High Fidelity’ with John Cusack. The producers wanted her there at 10 a.m. but she said she didn’t wake up until at least noon.”
