Mariah Carey’s Fans Are Her Extended Family

Howard Cohen of the Miami Herald was on hand at Mariah Carey’s meet and greet with fans in Miami on Saturday night at North Miami’s South Florida Rehearsal Studios. Over 100 fans showed up to meet Carey, as the singer explained her “fans are an extended family for me.” Carey added, “Probably everyone that wants to be famous is filling a void of something they are missing. I feel the acceptance they give me. And the support and unconditional love they show me is critical to my being.”
