Mariah Carey’s Father Dies Of Cancer

Condolences go out to Mariah Carey, as her father Alfred died of cancer on July 4th at his New York home, according to the New York Daily News. “She’s grateful that she had a chance to spend these weeks with him,” her rep said. Mariah returned to Capri on Sunday to continue recording her first CD for Universal Music. Her rep said a memorial service is being planned.
