Mario Vazquez Performs For High School That Gave Back
‘American Idol’ season four drop-out Mario Vazquez checked in with fans on his blog at Myspace on Wednesday, making no mention of the sexual harrassment suit filed against him by Magdaleno Olmos. “What’s up, my people?! I just wanted to take this moment to congratulate Peekskill High School for winning the Z100/Ronald McDonald house contest,” Vazquez writes. “All the people who were involved in doing community service for their neighborhood should be very proud of themselves. I always say that you should give back, and the students of Peekskill High School did it in a big way! They accumulated the most hours of community service in the tri-state area than any other h.s. In return, they received an exclusive performance by me. These kids were so pumped!! I have to say that was one of the best times I’ve had performing. BTW, I’ll have some pics up on myspace from the event. Just goes to show that people do care about giving back to their community. It’s all up to you to volunteer your time and make a difference. Until next time, mi gente… peace!”
