The opening salvo came from the Republicans, who produced a TV spot showing the face of presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass) turning into that of indicted ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson. As Mr. Kerry’s face fills the screen, a narrator intones, “Senator John Kerry says he deserves your trust… sound familiar?”
