Mary J. Blige’s Mantra For Britney Spears And Paris Hilton

Mary J. Blige tells The New York Daily News reports that she has a mantra for young divas like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton: “No more drama.” The singer explained, “A lot of us, when we’re young, we depend on other people’s opinions to make us feel like somebody special. And if someone is lying to you and telling you to be cocky or just to be wild and crazy, you kinda gotta clean out your circle in order to find out who you really are. You kind of start to understand what an independent artist you were from the beginning. When you’re always with someone and they’re showing you along the way, you forget that you have everything to do with your own success.”
