Matt Nathanson appeared on Current TV to discuss his latest album ‘Some Wild Hope’, his association with Jessica Stone, and heading on tour with Jessie Baylin. “I grew up at a time when KISS was really cool,” Matt said. “And I always wanted to be in KISS. I wanted to spit fire and wear leather pants. Then there was this movement that happened, a new folk movement with Tracy Chapman, 10000 Maniacs, and the Indigo Girls kind of showed up at the same time. I was like, I don’t need to be in a band. I don’t need anybody. I could just get an acoustic guitar, and I could just write songs. It was totally like a move to lonerville.” Watch the feature below.
