Mayor Of LA Calls For 10,000 More Police
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “You hear about this? The mayor of Los Angeles has called for 10,000 more police, and that’s just to take Britney Spears to the hospital. … Did you see that on the news the other night? You know, I’m sorry. I feel sorry for the girl. But really, 12 motorcycle police officers, plus a a helicopter, to pick up Britney at her house. And what was the helicopter for? Why do you need a helicopter? Is that in case she wasn’t wearing any underwear? The breeze from the blades would keep her skirt down. Is was that what the idea was?”
