Meg & Dia Shooting New Album Cover
Dia Frampton of Meg & Dia checked in with fans on the Utah indie pop group's MySpace blog on Tuesday (September 2). Dia writes:Hey ya'll.
Last day of tour...and we are pretty excited to get home.
Just kidding.
We are not going home right away. We are flying to Los Angeles to get our hairs done and our make ups done and take some photos for the album cover. I am trying to convince everyone to just take a huge picture of me ice blocking down a hill and putting that on as the record cover. I think it would make it go platinum. (Ice blocking is something Utah people do because we are bored, and don't go to bars or what not. What you do , is you sit on a piece of ice. Wrap a towel around it. And fly down a hill. It is actually pretty dangerous, but I am a very, VERY dangerous person. I am a crazy, INSANE person.)
I am a really very wild person.
But still, I think that would make a great cover. No one is digging it though.
Anyways, photos...awesome. I am so bad in front of a camera, but we will see what happens. Record comes out January...!
And boy oh boy do I love Mexican food in Utah.
And boy oh boy, thank you EVERYONE so much for coming out to our first headlining tour. So nice to see your smiling faces...:)
much love
dia
p.s. Carlo's birthday the other day. So amazing.
P.s.s. Escolar has been banned from some states because of some kind of weird chemical or something found in it, but I am still going to eat it here in Utah, on Strawberry fields.
