Meiko updated fans on the latest stop on the Hotel Cafe Tour at her blog at MySpace on Tuesday (October 21). The Los Angeles based singer songwriter tells readers:
Today – after visiting Lightning 100 in Nashville – I went to the greatest place ever!!! It’s called Sylvan Park… It was a restaurant in a little house that had about 10 tables in it.
I had fried chicken, turnip greens, fried okra, and Mac and Cheese…
Holy lord it was delicious… That’s why they call it “soul food”. It fed my soul… and now – I am revived..
I needed some home cookin’!!!
I’m in my bunk right now in a food coma. It feels great.
