Meiko: I’ve Officially Been Conaned
Meiko updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Sunday (September 14) after her performance last week on ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’. The singer songwriter tells readers:
I feel like such an asshole cause I haven’t been able to go through all my messages on here… So – If you have written me to say, “Congrats, I like your music”, or, “I think you suck” – Sorry I haven’t written you back to say “Thank you” or “Lick my balls”…
I’ve officially been Conaned. It was sooooo surreal. I was a little freaked out in the beginning – but felt a lot better by the middle of the song…
I tell you… I usually don’t get nervous – but that show had me tripping. When he asked me to sit on the couch – I was literally having an out-of-body experience… I remember looking down at myself thinking, “Hey! Wake up! He’s talking to you!!!!”
But – I got through it. I survived…
